  23. currently loaded theme.

  128. associated application even if it is not responding.

  130. Added: The tasklist icons are now refreshed every 3 seconds
  131. even if no applications have been started or terminated. This
  132. solves the problem of applications that change their taskbar 
  133. icon to show a process progress and also corrects a problem
  134. where sometimes busy applications would show the wrong icon.

  136. Added: Fade-In animation effect ( Windows 2000 only!!! )

  138. Added: Dragging a file over a Tasklist button now not only
  139. brings the associated window forward as it also identifies
  140. the window associated to that tile with a tooltip.

  143. sub-menu that pointed to programs or folders stored in the All
  144. Users section would sometimes not display an icon or display
  145. the wrong icon. This was due to a problem when installing NS
  146. for the first time which would add a superfluous "\" character
  147. to the end of the 'All Users' path. This has been fixed for 
  148. future installations, but if you are running NT or W2k you should 
  149. go to the Menu Editor tab, select the Applications item and click on the
  150. 'Properties' button in the 'Folder Path' section. Now in 'Folder Path 2'
  151. remove the superfluous "\" character. NS should now properly display icons
  152. for All Users items.

  154. Fixed: Systray.ico was not being saved with themes.

  156. Fixed: When creating an hotspot, dragging the cursor any
  157. other way than top left corner to bottom right corner would
  158. confuse NS.

  406. select how much and which parts of the screen borders are reserved
  407. for taskbars, etc... Maximized window sizes are automatically 
  408. adjusted and normal windows are also automatically moved out of the
  409. reserved screen areas. If a bar (or any window) lies entirelly within
  410. one of the reserved screen areas, then it is not moved at all - and
  411. becomes in fact 'protected' by this NS feature.

  413. Added: 'AutoRun' option in the Hotspots Preferences tab. If this
  414. option is checked, it will automatically launch that hotspot at
  415. NS startup - this option replaces the 'Launch Hotspots' section
  416. in the Global Preferences tab - it does the same thing in a much

  418. automatically launch hotspots, you will have to re-mark them
  419. using the new method.

  613. taskbar. WARNING: If you do not have the taskbar set to auto-hide and
  614. you are displaying the NS Tasklist and/or Systray at the very bottom
  615. of the screen by using a negative vertical offset, the Tasklist &
